Refund & Replacement Policy

Perishable Food Policy: Due to the perishable and live-culture nature of our fermented products, we cannot accept physical returns. All sales are final.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders: We take immense care in packing our jars to survive the journey, but transit accidents happen! If your order arrives damaged (broken glass, broken seals) or if we made a mistake and sent the wrong item/s, we will happily make it right with a replacement or a refund.

How to Claim: Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival. You must contact us at orders@foodandferments.com within 48 hours of delivery with:

  1. Your Order Number

  2. A brief description of the issue

  3. A clear photograph of the damaged or incorrect items

Please note: We cannot issue refunds or replacements for issues reported after the 48-hour delivery window, for incorrect shipping addresses entered at checkout, or for personal taste preferences.

Due to the perishable nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges.

Shipping Issues

We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier. However, if your package is lost in transit, please contact us and we will assist in filing a claim and resolving the issue.

Product Condition & Fermentation

Our products are naturally fermented and may exhibit variations in flavor, texture, or activity (including bubbling or leakage). These are normal characteristics and do not qualify for refunds.
